May was the first month since I've been doing monthly layouts that I was able to actually fill up all my journaling space without making the font bigger. Simply put, May was super busy for us. And here's how it looks:
This last page is almost all photos that were shot in square orientation (either for sharing on Instagram or because I forgot and didn't switch to rectangle). It is actually all photos, but I needed to cover one of my photos because it was a personal photo with someone in it who couldn't be shared. I second guessed my composition choices a lot on this set of pages but in the end, I decided done was better than agonizing over it.
For this layout, I used a lot of Cathy Zielske products. I also used the Everyday Edition of Project Life and recolored some of the digital cards. I love the clean and simple look, but sometimes clean and simple is more work than lots of color and embellishment, and this was one of those months. In the end, the pages are done and I'm happy with them and that's all that matters.
