One of my goals for this year is to do a better job of documenting our lives. I plan to do this through various media -- my daily planner, my Log Your Memory book, a traditional journal, my digital scrapbooking.
Because of this goal, I'm much more conscious of the little things we do during the day that I want to document. In order to keep myself motivated, I thought I'd start a little weekly challenge or prompt here at document your life.
Here's how it will work: I'll post a prompt here. You can choose to download a .pdf and save it for later (you could even print them out and create a binder full of documentation ideas), or you can just read it and use the prompt to jump start your creativity.
That's it. What you do with it from there is up to you. You can journal about the topic. Take a picture and post it to your facebook or blog. Do a layout. It is totally up to you. I just want to produce some motivation -- for me and my readers. Let's get this movement going. Let's document our lives. Now.

I would love to see how this prompt inspired you. Leave me a link here. If there's enough interest, I can even get a Flickr group started. (And hey, if you're doing a 365 days or 52 weeks photo project, here's a weekly idea for you.)
Hope you like this idea as much as I do! I think this is going to be such a fun project!
