Last year (as in 2011), my family bought me a blue blanket for Christmas. This has become my blue blankie and it pretty much moves everywhere with me. On a cold night, it's an extra blanket on the bed. When I wake up, I drag it out to the sofa and use it to cover my feet and keep my toesies warm. It's big and I love it. It's the perfect blanket for me, a girl who loves cold weather and loves to be wrapped in blankets.
See? That's blue blankie. It had just come out of the dryer and was extra snuggly warm. Why was it in the dryer?
That's another story. I'm not the only member of the family that loves blue blankie. Hayden has taken a liking to it. And although I drag my blanket around when I'm home, there's a big chunk of the day that I'm not home. Hayden claims my blanket, uses his little paws to make it a perfect nest and then sleeps in it all day. I really don't mind sharing with him, but it does present a problem.
My blanket smells like tired wooker dog.
Seriously. My dog has a smell when he's sleeping hard. And my blanket? It smelled like him. I couldn't stop smelling it Saturday night because I just couldn't believe that his scent would permeate my blanket so completely. It's not a completely unpleasant smell because my dog is fairly clean, but it's just strange that a blanket would smell like him. So I washed it. And it smells better.
For now.
Story 2 is a mystery. Insert spooky music here.
Last Friday, two posters appeared on Chesney's bed.
They are indentical posters. Both signed by the performers. But we have no idea how they appeared on her bed.
We love the show. We'll see it over Spring Break. We're just all completely confused by how the posters appeared, especially since we don't remember ever getting posters, much less getting them signed.
Gareth and Matt are haunting us. With glow in the dark drumsticks.
I'm scared.
