Dan watches this show called Gator Boys.
I don't really watch it... but it's on, so I guess I do. I have to say that as TV shows go, it's not awful.
I have a strange fascination with gators. I'm dying to go to Gatorland when we go to Florida. I don't know when we'll get time to go, but my need to go is great. This show, though... I can't stand how they treat their volunteers. Maybe I'm crazy, but volunteers don't get paid. So you sort of want to show some respect for them, right? Cuz that's not happening with the Gator Boys.
Now me... I'm loving Alcatraz lately.
Maybe it's filling the void left by LOST. I really do like the cast (and I so want my hair cut like the lead female character's... whose name I can't place at the moment). Maybe I just want to see Jorge Garcia working steadily. I think TV is sad without him on it every week.
I'm really loving the whole mythology thing, though. I'm loving the mystery and the characters (although Sam Neill was my favorite dinosaur hunter and he's just a jerk on this show sometimes).
A little sad when it was preempted last night for a car race.
So I went to bed and read this:
Great book. Two thumbs up. Love having a few minutes -- hours -- to escape into the future with Dallas and Roarke.
