From some recent blog posts...
Following yesterday's Ham & Cheese Slider recipe, Susan asks:
Kim, what did you use for buns? and did you just use ham llunchmeat (deli style and swiss cheese?) These look so good and I want to try them, please let me know where the buns came from, I know they are small, like dinner rolls, right?
Well, Susan, I am a total ham snob. I will not eat cheap ham. So this is Party Time Ham. I usually buy a big rectangle of it at my local grocery store, ring for the butcher and tell him to slice it so thin I can see through it. No lie, that's what I tell them.
As for the buns, the same local store has a bakery so we bought their dinner rolls.
Mykiah also wants everyone to know we used swiss cheese. I think Provolone would work well, too.
Regarding my December Daily album, E comments:
I want to try viovio, but no matter how many times I read the instructions I still don't get it! BTW-your book is beautiful!
I ended up saving all my pages as .pdf files in Photoshop Elements. It took forever for me to upload them to Viovio but once they were there it was really easy to just drag and drop the pages to create the book. My pages weren't uploaded in order because I threw in some filler pages to make it flow better and I had no problems putting my pages where I wanted them. I know when I went to save as .pdf I made sure to save at very high quality. Hope that helps!
After I posted my year in review layout, I got the following comments:
I love your blog:) You inspired me to do my own 2011 year in review. Thanks for the inspiration.
I love that you use the same template every year, but each one has a different feel.
I was just looking for inspiration and these are great.
Thank you so much! I started using that template before templates were even called templates. This one can be found at Heather Ann Designs. She calls them Quick Fills. Seriously... how long have I been digital scrapbooking that I remember back before there were templates?
That's it for today. Should you ever have a burning question you'd like answered, leave me a comment. I'll be happy to answer... it may take me a bit, but I'll get there!
