Digital Scrapbooking Day 08: The Review
Last Saturday was Digital Scrapbooking Day. Basically an excuse for all the digi-scrap stores to have sales, and all the digital scrapbookers to shop. Oh, there were probably some chats and games going on, but I was feeling anti-social.
So I just shopped.
I shopped way too much. So much that my original plan to post the previews of what I bought was thrown out when I realized how big the blog post would be. I tried a bunch of new designers, and picked up some stuff at great prices.
I spent 7 hours on Saturday downloading, unzipping, and organizing what I bought. Really. Of course, I was making meals, doing laundry, and taking care of the family in there, but from 11 am to 7 pm, I was working on organizing.
I rewarded myself by actually scrapbooking on Sunday. I haven't really sat and scrapbooked in a very long time (June?), and it had been even longer since I'd shopped (obviously). Sunday was all about having fun with my digital products.
And watching NCIS, which I'd never seen before, but had DVR'd for just this event. It's a good show. I'll watch now.
So I thought I'd share the layouts I created on Sunday. I used templates for all of them, and don't feel guilty about it. They are still definitely "my" layouts.
Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. I'll be back next week with Thanksgiving photos.
P.S. Woo Hoo! I made the gallery standouts blog for the first time with my Happy Halloween layout!!
