For a long time, I've been trying to regularly feature a recipe every week here on my blog. It's kind of been hit or miss, but I think I have it figured out. I'm scrapping my recipes for a gift I'm making (that may get done in this century), and I thought I'd just share my scrapped recipe cards.
So here's this week's recipe:
I used to make this recipe all the time, but haven't made it recently. It's a great recipe to make when your budget is stretched a bit thin. Not only are the ingredients affordable, but you'll have some potatoes, etc. left over for another meal.
The kit is Ange Barton's 24 and the recipe card template is by Melanie Colosimo.
And since it's Wednesday, time to keep up with my other Wednesday tradition, eye candy. Let's go with Garth Brooks, mostly because I'm excited to get his new CD, which was released yesterday and should be on its way to me. I ordered mine here because $10 of the purchase price goes right to the Susan G Komen foundation. Which is amazingly generous on Garth's part. I haven't bought a Garth CD in years... probably decades. But I'm excited to get this one and introduce my children to the joys of pure entertainment (although they already know Callin Baton Rouge... probably my all-time favorite song). Anyway, there's Garth. Here's to good music and fun times.
