color blocking freebie
The template I have today is a tool you can use to help you color block a layout. You can use it as the layout, but I like to use it to do a little color blocking, then add to the layout to make it completely different.
Here's a layout I did just using the template:
But here's one I did this week which show how versatile this template can be:
For this layout, I started by using the template to color block a background. Added appropriate shadows, flattened the layer. Then add DebF's scallop template, and merge the blocked background onto the template. Then I had to add a white background behind the scallop/blocked background, and from there I just built my layout. If you'd like to see the full credit (or hey, leave me praise), you can see it here.
