10K Steps

At work, we've been challenged to take 10,000 steps a day. I even bought a new pedometer so I could see whether I do it. I was over in the 8500 to 9000 step range on Thursday and Friday of last week. Totally forgot to wear the pedometer to the fair, which ticked me off. I know I walked a ton Saturday. Sunday, Dan and I twice went on walks, so I was back up there. But that 10K remains elusive. Got to pick it up a little bit. It's time for my swing back toward a healthy lifestyle. Not feeling incredibly motivated this year, even though I usually get really focused about now. And really, I'm going to be OK with that. It's a bit different this year, and I'm giving myself a break.

Eye Candy is Steve from Ghost Hunters. I'm so beyond addicted to that show. Spent Sunday listening to Jason and Grant's radio show Beyond Reality. I think something in that show just appeals to the skeptic in me. And Steve works for eye candy. He makes me laugh, and sort of reminds me of the men in my life... afraid of spiders and flying. And a bit on the shy side.

Big debate at our house is what we shall do for our "big" vacation next year... 2 weeks in Branson? Disneyland? Universal Studios Florida? Each one has pros and cons. I know what I want to do, but Dan doesn't agree and we can't seem to come to any kind of decision. Not that there's a big rush, but we do need to start working up a budget and savings plan. Other than that, pretty boring around here...

Kim,

I do believe the Haygood news just made you're decision. ;) I'm thinking in this household: 1 week. 6 nights at the Haygoods. It could be my graduation gift ;) I'll be there November 10th...as I'm sure you read from Jason's rantings. Sounds like next year will be named...The Year of The Haygoods. I'm excited for the world to see what we fell in love with. And I know they will.
