Buy DebF
I've worked with a lot of designers over the last 3 years, and I'd do pretty much anything to support them. They have all been so kind and generous. I remember being so thrilled when Deb Fisher asked me to be on her creative team. It came at a time when I was going through a creative slump and it was such a pick-me-up. I think she kick started my mojo again.
For those who don't know, Deb's husband was killed last month in a farming accident. Deb currently homeschools their six children, and the digital scrapbooking community has come together to support Deb. It started with a grassroots campaign titled "Buy DebF" where scrappers simply went and bought some of her products. The consignment store where she sells, Pickleberry Pop, waived all her fees and commissions for the month of May so that the profit from everything purchased went directly to Deb.
Now, a whole bunch of designers have come together to create a huge collaboration kit. There are several different options for buying the kit. And when I tell you it is a full kit, I'm not joking. I have it, and it's huge. I could scrap for days using this kit. And I did, just before I left on my trip. Included in the mega kit are some quick pages that I made. Here's a little preview of the pages I did:
As an added bonus, I also contributed 4 of the layered templates that I very briefly had up for sale at the beginning of this year. If you wanted them and didn't pick them up, this is your chance. They won't be offered again.
You can check out this mega kit at Pickleberry Pop. You'll be supporting a wonderful cause.
