More music
I'm kind of getting in a little pattern here. Monday, I blog about my weekend or travel plans. Tuesday is a wild card. Wednesday is Eye Candy. Thursday is a freebie.
Friday is a video. Just how it's working out.
Last weekend, I was thinking about how in the world I was going to get my music when we're at WDW.
Duh, Kim. You've got an iPod. I just haven't used it much lately because my main exercise is walking and usually, there's a person or two walking with me and it seems rude to listen to the iPod when I'm walking with someone. Although sometimes, I'd love to wear the iPod and tune out the people. Don't tell Dan.
I went and retrieved the iPod and reloaded all my favorites on it. Had to add the latest Haygoods, and music from 3 CDs we've gotten since Christmas -- Tracy Lawrence, Daughtry and Tim McGraw.
Then I had this 1 song credit at iTunes and felt the need to use it. I've been hanging onto it, just waiting for the perfect song inspiration. It's been this little precious thing... all mine. Just a 99 cent song, one song and I get to pick how it's used. Finally, I made my choice:
Yup, there it is. The perfect song. I've had this song in my head since before Spring Break. In fact, while we were eating at the American Bandstand Bar and Grill in Branson, this song came on the video screens, and you should have seen me freak. OK, maybe I had a little mixed drink in me and I was already pretty hyped because we were seeing the Haygoods after dinner, but this song... how can you just sit and listen to it? You just have to get up and dance, don't you? So today, I just had to share it. Now you know you're going to be singing it all weekend, right? I do so love to spread the joy...
Love Frankie Valli, that falsetto is killer! Did you know he has otosclerosis and will lose his hearing one day? Hope you have a great weekend, and keep the rain up there, will ya? =)

Okay... now you've done it! I'm going to have to go download it now! I love this song... takes me back to when I first moved to Chicago right after college... they used to play it all of the time at the bars around my apartment.
