weekend recap
Had a fun weekend at my parents' house.
Loved playing with the baby. She is just a doll, even if she did drool formula all over one of my favorite shirts.
Took this photo of her with my dad:
One of my favorite portraits ever.
Chesney woke up Easter morning convinced she had heard the Easter bunny walking around upstairs. Hey, there's 11 people in the house, but I'll buy the Easter bunny over a teething baby anytime.
Spent a lot of time this weekend talking about the big Disney trip. We leave seven weeks from today and my sister, brother-in-law, nieces and mom will join us two days later. So we had a lot to discuss. Do we ride Dumbo first or head for Space Mountain? Can the baby go on the Safari ride?
Important stuff, people. And so fun to be discussing it with my sister.
Along those lines, you can read part 3 of my pretrip report on the DIS boards today.
The big bummer of the weekend was me getting sick on Saturday night. I've got either a touch of the stomach flu or a touch of food poisoning. It's not much, but enough to have my bones aching and me wanting to stay in bed. Can't allow myself to be sick until Tuesday, though. Much work to be done on Monday.
And hey, I managed to burn a (probably semi-illegal) CD of Haygoods music on Sunday (for personal use only... I swear). I figure if I have to go to work, might as well make the drive as enjoyable as possible. Picks up my mood, and the day just goes better if I start it with a bit of the Haygoods.
So there's my happy thought for this Monday morning. That, and the fact that after today, there are only 5 more Mondays left in this school year.
Have a wonderful day! If you're a freebie collector, you might want to check back tomorrow....

Kim, what an adorable picture! Hope you're feeling better, my friend!

What an adorable photo! I love the expression on your dad's face -- and the baby's obviously having a great time! Thanks for posting it. :)
