Catching Up

I feel like I've been out of touch for the last two weeks.

Oh wait, between actually being gone and then posting my trip report, I haven't really updated here.

First, I started posting my pretrip report for our Disney trip at the DisBoards. Didn't want to clog up the blog with it, but if you're interested, you can read along here . If you're a DisBoard member, please post and say Hi. And hey, I'm not above a shameless plug for a bump.

Fixed up the blog with one of the photos from Spring Break. Not to be vain, but I just think I look pretty good in that photo. It was just before The Haygoods and we were outside posing. I made our reservations for our Thanksgiving show today. I'm sitting in the front row. Merry Christmas to me.

Worked crazy hours last week, but I'm taking this a personal day this Friday. So it all works out in the end.

Went and saw "Blades of Glory" Saturday. I'm not a huge fan of Will Farrell and though I love Jon Heder, I thought the beauty of Napoleon Dynamite was that it wasn't mainstream. So I didn't think I'd really like BOG, but it sounded better than "Meet the Robinson's" so I talked Dan into it. Mykiah didn't want to see it at all, so she pouted until the movie started.

I laughed. And laughed. And almost spit out my pop. Twice.

Made up a little schedule for future movie watching, too, cuz there's lots of great movies about to be released. In 2 weeks, we'll go see Meet the Robinsons. Because it's a Disney movie and we need to see it before we go to Disney. (Whoops! Had originally put it was Pixar, but it's really Disney CG animated. LIke Chicken Little. Probably my least favorite Disney movie in recent history. So I might bump it back down the list of movies to see...)

3 weeks after that, Spiderman 3. May 19, Shrek the 3rd. May 26th... 2 days before we leave for WDW... Pirates of the Carribbean.

Oh, we probably won't go see all those movies, but it sure sounds like fun. We do love our movies.

I've posted a ton of layouts over the last week, so I'll close out this post by giving you some thumbnails of what I didn't post over the last week. I'll get back to regular posts tomorrow.

Love the layouts! Very very nice work. And just FYI, Meet the Robinsons is not a Pixar movie. It is a Disney CG film, like Chicken Little. Now, once Lassiter took over animation at Disney, he did order some revisions, but it was not developed by or rendered by Pixar, just Disney itself. Just didn't want you to be surprised if it wasn't up to usual Pixar standards, since it isn't actually a Pixar. Next Pixar is Ratatouille, coming out in late June, IIRC.

Oh, I am SO jealous of the Disney plans in the making!! *sticking my tongue out* I'm hoping to get us there in the fall/winter. Keep your fingers crossed for me, huh!?!? As for now, I guess I just need to live vicariously through your plans. ;)

Great start to your trip report! I subscribed so I can keep an eye on you. Your trip report writing style reminds me of LaLa's (overdue and overpacked I AND II, LOL).. I have been member over at Disboards for what seems like forever but hardly ever post.. I am definately a lurker.. ;)
