We are home

I'm all grubby but a shower will fix that pretty quick. I'll start the trip report tomorrow, but I wanted to share a photo of my favorite souvenir with everyone....

Had this signed after the show. A little sad that about half the Haygoods were ill and therefore not out signing autographs, but I'm pretty thrilled with the ones I got. And thanks to Patrick, for telling me it was a great little layout. Even if his photo isn't on it. It's going above my computer, next to my master's degree.

I'm finding it really hard to accept that it will be 8 months before we're back in Branson, so I decided to plan a "surprise" birthday trip for myself. You see, Dan's going to ask my parents to watch the kids for the weekend. He's going to flip shifts with his partner on a Monday. And the last weekend in July, he's going to surprise me with a trip to Branson. For my 37th birthday and our 17th anniversary. Front row seats to the Haygoods, I'm thinking. 3rd row to The Duttons, cuz that's our spot. He won 2 free nights at any Fairfield Inn. I don't see why it shouldn't be Branson. And hey, I'm such a great wife, I'm even willing to take care of the details for him.
