random thoughts

• Thanks so much to the quick thinker who alerted me to the fact that I had the wrong link for my template. It was a quick fix and I'm glad someone caught it. I know when I download, things will often sit on my desktop for a week or more, so I'm glad someone moves a little faster than me!
• Last night, I discovered our flight schedule for Disney had changed. For the better. 5 more hours in Disney at the start of the trip, 12 more hours (and an extra night) at the end of the trip. I was flying high last night trying to rearrange everything.
• Going to my parents for the weekend. The plan is to load up the laptop tonight and then take it and scrap tomorrow. I'm thinking since I won't have an internet connection, maybe I'll actually get some scrapping done.
• Remember my search for jeans a couple of weeks ago? A blog reader brought this contest at Nautica Jeans to my attention. Dan loves Nautica jeans (and it's a contest involving men's jeans), so you can bet we entered. It's a simple click and enter contest so I thought I'd pass it along.
• Woke up this morning dreaming that someone was hacking into my head with an ax. Yeah, I had a killer headache at 4 am. Got up, took Advil, no help. Got up at 6:15 for good and that Advil seems to be helping. Thankfully.
• It's skirt day today. There's a little gaggle of kindergarten girls that is hooked on Tim McGraw's song "Last Dollar." And they like to dance to it, wearing swirly skirts and twirling. So today, we decided we'd all wear skirts. Which means I have to do it. I own one skirt that I'll wear to work. Luckily, I have a shirt and shoes to match. I thought about calling in sick when I woke up with a headache, but how can I miss skirt day?
• Don't forget to switch those clocks this weekend! I know we're excited because we prefer to go on our daily walks after dinner, but if we did that now, it would be in the dark. It will be nice to have our afternoons be a bit more leisurely. I might get to breathe in between getting home, walking and making dinner.
