Opening Day freebie
Update: the link was wrong. Please redownload if you got the wrong one!
I thought that when I got up this morning, I'd do a little Branson trip update for you.
There's not much to update, though.
We go to Branson so often that other than booking a few shows, we go with the flow.
So here's the state of things:
We're staying at a condo on a golf course. We don't golf, but I'll love the screened porch (planning to eat my breakfast there unless it's too cold) and the bubbling tub.
We have two reservations for shows, and I've kinda got a third in mind, but we might go to Silver Dollar City with a friend, so I'm not sure.
We'll be seeing Six for the first time. They get really good reviews -- for the most part -- on my Branson board. That's our Friday afternoon show.
We're also planning to hit the annual Imax Film Festival. The Imax in Branson is one of my favorite places. The last two years on our Spring Break trip, we've seen some really cool films as a family.
And, of course, you know we're going to see the The Haygoods, right? Tonight is their opening night. Which is good, Dan says, because then they'll get the kinks worked out of their show before we see them 2 weeks from tonight. I, however, am sure that there will be no kinks in the first place.
Anyway, I was thinking about it being their opening night of the season and about one of my favorite layouts, which happens to feature some photos from the first time I saw their show. It's this one:
And then I remembered I have a template using this kit. It was very briefly for sale at PDW, but I know that no one really got a chance to buy it. I wasn't planning to give away the templates that had been for sale, but I think this one template needs to be given away today. It's a day earlier than usual, but I'm sure you're all super excited about The Haygoods opening night and want to celebrate by using this template, right? And hey, any excuse to put up a picture of Shawn's muscles.... You know he touched me, right?
OK... I'll quit blathering about cutie boys and get on to the template. Here's a preview:
And you can download it here . Enjoy it, use it, scrap some photos (love that big photo... that's just so me) and if you want some praise, send me a link. You know, I say that every time, and no one ever sends me a link. Surprise me!
Thank you so much. I found this template through IkeaGoddess. She has a layout using it on her blog.
