not a great start

Valentine's Day is not starting well.

Our showers are not working. For one, the pipes are frozen. It's my fault. Dan told me to set it to drip, so I did that with the hot water. Unfortunately, the cold water froze (I thought it was just the hot that froze in the past). So Dan goes to use our other shower and the dealy thingy won't pull up. So no shower for Kim this morning.

And I worked out last night and didn't shower afterwards because I knew I'd be showering this morning.

So I stink.

Aren't you sad that you aren't one of my team members at work, who will spend 4 hours this morning sitting with me in a small meeting room?

Hoping -- praying -- that the cold defrosts during the day today so that I can use it tomorrow. If not, it'll be a bath in the kids' tub for me this evening.

At least the day can only go up from here.

Hi Kim, hope you're defrosted by now! If my shower freezes, which it does, I'd have to do without or go to Bob's. Do you think he'd like company at 6:00 am? I doubt it! It's supposed to warm up tomorrow. {{{Hugs}}}
